SYNOPSIS by Sergey Poplavsky Starting from the premise that everything we see is just a reflection of light, the show plays with each character's journey of discovering who they truly are and the danger of attempting to alter destiny. The answers they find may change the world forever, but time is running out. First, we meet STEPHANY TAYLOR, a scientist who works in a prestigious laboratory investing significant resources to develop a new drug that will reverse the aging process. Approaching her sixtieth birthday, Stephany fears that her career will soon reach its end unless she delivers results. With that pressure hanging over her shoulders, she decides to change her reflection by trying the drug on herself. The results dramatically alter her appearance, revealing a young woman in her 30's at the pinnacle of her career. Nevertheless, there are always unexpected side effects of experimenting with an untested drug. Secondly, we meet RICHARD SHELTON, an anthropologist and avid art collector with a vast and influential clientele. Traveling in an expedition through the Bolivian jungle, Richard encounters a sorcerer who gives him knowledge to find ancient artifacts that can change the reflection of the person who observes them, sometimes even transporting them to different planes of existence. Approaching retirement, Richard decides to change his reflection, giving him more time to collect all the artifacts. Our third protagonist enters the story when Richard hires BRITNEY CANDELL, a young librarian by day and a thief/con artist by night, to find the artifacts that are scattered all around the world. Her first job is to track down the "destiny dagger," previously stolen from the national museum. When she finds the dagger, its new owner accidentally activates in front of her. This first-hand experience arouses her curiosity to learn more about the pieces and creates a mistrust for Richard. Our fourth protagonist is MICHAEL BRITTS, a photographer starting a new business in a new studio. Worried about how to meet his financial needs, he “miraculously” books his first celebrity photo shoot. During it, he mysteriously trespasses into another plane of existence and sees a reflection of himself, warning him about impending danger. He will have to run to save his life by learning how to transverse this multilayered reality by reflecting light, an element that is not completely strange to him as a photographer. As the series progresses, Stephany will find the correlation between the DNA code and the ancient artifacts, Richard will learn how to change reflections at will, Britney will discover how to keep all her many reflections in one, and Michael will find how to bend light to identify the different reflections.
